Rack and Mat is a trading name of Little Jam Jar Ltd (company number 17539606, England and Wales), the data controller. ICO registration: ZC283636. This page says what is recorded when you visit, for how long and why. It is short because there are no accounts and no cookies.

Your room

The fit check runs on your device. As you type, the page puts your sizes into its own address, so you can bookmark or share your plan; that happens in your browser and sends nothing to us. If you open, reload or share a link to a plan, the sizes in it are part of the page address, which our access log records like any address (below).

What is recorded

Our web server, like every web server, keeps an access log: the address your connection came from, the page requested, the time, the browser's description of itself, the page that sent you here and the country Cloudflare reports for your connection. We use these logs to keep the site working and to see which pages are read. They are kept for 14 days and then deleted. Cloudflare, Inc. carries the site's traffic as our processor.

What is not done

No cookies are set. No analytics scripts, trackers or advertising code run here. We do not sell, share or combine anything about visitors.

eBay listings

The eBay block shows listings and photographs from eBay. The photographs load directly from eBay's servers, so when the block is on screen your browser asks eBay for them, and eBay sees your address as it would for any page. We keep no copies of them, and a listing that has gone is deleted at our next update.

Links to Amazon and eBay

When you follow a shop link you leave Rack and Mat, and that shop sets its own cookies to record the visit and any purchase, under its own privacy notice. The link carries our affiliate tag or campaign and a word about where on the site it was, never anything about you. See Affiliate links.

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, at [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
